We envision a future without landfills, starting with food waste, the largest component of municipal waste. Our goal is to advance our compact robot technology to tackle other waste streams.
Compacting material at the source level widened the array of logistics options for zero-day. Not having to fit a compactor in the vehicle or waste space transporting non-compact material allowed us to consider electric fleet options currently available for logistics.
ZeroDay can utilize a variety of electric vehicles to collect blocks from our customer access points and drop them off at consolidation points (warehouses).
ZeroDay uses a variety of short-term storage locations for blocks pending transportation to our digester facilities. Short-term storage leads to an economical and sustainable solution as it maximizes utilizing our long-haul trucks and digesters' capacity.
