ZD1 is designed with practicality and ease of use in mind.
Fill the small storage receptacle (which comes with ZD1) with food waste as it accumulates throughout the day.
The contents move cleanly through ZD1, automatically being ground, sealed into compact blocks, and stacked in the internal storage receptacle.
ZD1 needs to be emptied infrequently because our volume reduction allows ZD1 to hold up to four times the volume of a standard bin. Roll the internal wheelie out when it is time to empty the machine.
Our storage solutions allow blocks to be stacked neatly curbside for collection.

Use the countertop receptacle to transfer organic material from your kitchen into the ZD1. The countertop receptacle provides a barrier between the user and ZD1, securing ZD1's inner mechanism from outside exposure while providing the user a touchless experience to reduce contamination.
ZD1 will only engage when the receptacle is attached. The receptacle's detachable bottom automatically opens up, disposing of the contents into ZD1's inner.
ZD1's built-in indicator system alerts you of notifications and status updates as the machine functions via your mobile device, providing an utterly touchless interaction with the machine, ensuring maximum hygiene and eliminating any possibility of material contamination within your living space.
